Waterford students march against third-level fees

Up to 2,500 students have been marching in Waterford city today to protest against the possible reintroduction of third-level fees.

The demonstrators gathered at Waterford Institute of Technology on the Cork Road at around noon before marching to City Square.

Gardaí say there are still delays to traffic inbound on the Cork Road and motorists should avoid the area.
