Education Minister Batt O'Keeffe is indicating that he will press ahead with proposals to reintroduce third-level fees.

Education Minister Batt O'Keeffe is indicating that he will press ahead with proposals to reintroduce third-level fees.

Mr O'Keeffe caused controversy last year when he suggested that families in the highest wage bracket should pay for college and university places.

Speaking in Cork today the minister said a report on the issue should be completed by April but that it was too early at this stage to predict what will happen.
