Man dies in Carlow crash

A man has been killed in a road accident in Co Carlow.

He was a passenger in a car which crashed into a tree at Derrymoles just after 10.30pm last night.

The driver was taken to Saint Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny, but his condition is not yet known.

An investigation is underway.
