Man in North arrested in relation to eight-year-old murder

A 39-year-old man was arrested today in connection with the murder of a leading loyalist paramilitary nearly a decade ago.

A 39-year-old man was arrested today in connection with the murder of a leading loyalist paramilitary nearly a decade ago.

He was arrested by the Historical Enquiries Team and was being questioned about the killing of Ulster Defence Association member Tommy English in 2000.
