Protests to be held outside Israeli embassy

The Irish Anti-war movement will lead a march to the Israeli embassy later today in protest at the ongoing offensive in Gaza.

It is urging the Irish public to participate in the demonstration which starts at the Central Bank at 1pm.

Israel has pushed ahead with its offensive in Gaza despite a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cessation in hostilities.

Almost 800 Palestinians have now died in the attacks.
