Cobh named Ireland's most littered town

Cobh in Co Cork has been identified as Ireland's most littered town in the latest survey by the Irish Business Against Litter organisation.

Thirty-six of the 55 towns inspected as part of the survey have been ranked as litter-free.

This compares with only two towns when the IBAL litter league was first published in 2002.

The cleanest town in the survey is due to be officially revealed later today.
