Three rescued off Antrim coast

Three people have been rescued in the North after their boat got into difficulty in a harbour in Co. Antrim.

Three people have been rescued in the North after their boat got into difficulty in a harbour in Co. Antrim.

The vessel drifted on to rocks close to the harbour entrance of Rathlin island shortly before midnight last night.

Lifeboats from Portrush were alerted to the incident after receiving a mayday call and rescued the people on board shortly afterwards.

No one was injured in the incident.
