IFA warns pesticide ban will cost consumer

The Irish Farmers Association is warning that consumers will be hit if EU plans to halve the use of toxic products in crops by 2013 go ahead.

Later this month the EU is expected to give the go-ahead for the scheme, which will see a number of pesticides banned.
