Man stabbed in Tyrone

A man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Co. Tyrone.

The incident happened at a house in Cookstown in the early hours of this morning.

Police say the 23-year-old was stabbed during an altercation involving up to four people.

He was treated in hospital for a punctured lung and an injury to his arm.

A knife was recovered by the police.

The PSNI is appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
