18-year-old woman held after Kilkenny death

Gardaí have arrested an 18-year-old woman as part of their investigation into the death of a young man at a house in Co Kilkenny this morning.

The 22-year-old victim was found with serious injuries at the house in Castlecomer at around 4am.

He is believed to have been stabbed to death.

The scene has been sealed off for technical examination and a post mortem will be carried out later today.

The teenager being questioned in connection with the case is in custody at Kilkenny Garda Station.
