Fathers hold vigil over inequalities in family law

The Unmarried and Separated Fathers of Ireland will hold its 10th Christmas vigil in Dublin today to protest against what it calls inequalities in family law.

The Unmarried and Separated Fathers of Ireland will hold its 10th Christmas vigil in Dublin today to protest against what it calls inequalities in family law.

The group will gather on O'Connell Street in the capital for two hours to highlight the numbers of parents who will not be spending time with their children this Christmas.

Spokesperson for the group Eamon Quinn said the Government needs to recognise the importance of the family unit.
