Cloyne ‘was only diocese not to follow procedures’

A state investigation has reportedly found that the Diocese of Cloyne was the only diocese in Ireland that failed to adequately adhere to child protection procedures.

The Bishop of Cloyne, Dr John Magee, is coming under increasing pressure to resign after a church report found that he failed to properly handle allegations of clerical child sex abuse.
