Garda Ombudsman to probe Kerry car crash

The Garda Ombudsman Commission has launched an investigation into a car crash in Co Kerry this morning.

Two men were injured when the car they were travelling in crashed at Kilduff between Castleisland and Tralee at around 7 o'clock.

It's understood gardaí - who were investigating a robbery at a phone shop - were pursuing the car at the time of the crash.

The two men are being treated at Kerry General Hospital where one of them is said to be in a serious condition.
