Woman and children escape injury in Limerick gun attack

A woman and three young children have escaped injury in a gun attack on a house in Limerick city early this morning.

Up to 12 shots were fired at the house on St Munchin's Street in St Mary's Park at around 5am.

The occupants have been moved to alternative accommodation to facilitate a forensic examination of the scene.
