Job cuts are reportedly on the way at Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports as part of a plan to save €20m in costs.

Reports this morning say the Dublin Airport Authority, which controls the three facilities, has told trade unions it will be seeking voluntary redundancies due to expected falls in passenger numbers.

The DAA employs almost 2,700 staff and has already frozen senior executive pay for next year.

No details have been provided about the number of job losses being sought.
