New arrest in doorman murder probe
Detectives investigating the murder of a doorman made a further arrest today.
Brian McGlynn, 28, was shot dead as he lay in bed in his Derry home in June last year.
A 48-year-old suspect was taken into custody in the Strabane area today.
Police have made a series of arrests in connection with the killing in the last month, but no-one has yet been charged.
Mr McGlynn was originally from Strabane but had been working as a doorman at a nightclub and a pub in Derry.
He was sleeping beside his girlfriend in the house they shared in the Fountain Hill area of the city when gunmen burst into the room and shot him several times.
