Investigation continues into violent death in Howth
Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the violent death of a 46-year-old woman at her home in Howth yesterday morning.
Celine Cawley, a successful businesswoman and mother-of-one, was found with serious injuries on the patio behind her home.
She was taken to hospital, but was pronounced dead a short time later.
Her husband, who made the discovery, reportedly told the Gardaí that he saw a balaclava-clad man fleeing down a nearby laneway when he arrived home from walking the couple's dogs.
Ms Cawley was the founder of the Dublin advertising agency Toytown Films.
The Gardaí have sealed off the scene and surrounding areas while investigations into the death continue.
