Three in four in North to cut Christmas groceries spend
The credit crunch is set to take a sizeable bite out of Christmas dinner this year with almost three out of four shoppers in the North admitting they will be spending less on groceries for the big day.
While plates might not be as full, the turkey, sprouts and stuffing are likely to taste as good as ever, with seven out of 10 people still putting quality over price, regardless of the economic climate.
