Gardaí are today investigating a stabbing incident in Limerick.

Gardaí are today investigating a stabbing incident in Limerick.

It is understood to have happened at the Arthur's Quay shopping centre at approximately 4.15pm.

A man has been taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Dooradoyle for treatment.

Gardaí at Henry Street are investigating and are appealing to witnesses to come forward.

No arrests have been made.
