Department of Education rolls back on Budget cuts

The Department of Education is rowing back on some of the substitution teacher cuts made in the Budget.

Under a deal agreed with schools, post-primary management bodies will make €16m of savings on substitution costs, while each school will get a certain number of hours of substitution cover.
