Seanad: Medical card means test 'ill-thought'

Plans by the Government to means test over 70s for a medical card have been described as "ill-thought legislation".

The comments were made in the Seanad this morning during a debate of the 2008 Health Bill which will put the changes for medical card eligibility into law.
