Man held over East Wall murder released
An 18-year-old man who was being questioned in connection with the murder of Aidan O'Kane in Dublin's East Wall has been released without charge.
Meanwhile, a handgun recovered by gardaí investigating the killing is to undergo forensic tests by ballistic experts.
Ammunition and a quantity of drugs were also discovered during searches in the north inner city yesterday evening.
Aidan O'Kane, aged 50, was shot in the Bargy Road area of East Wall on Sunday night after he chased a group of teenagers from his home.
A 16-year-old boy has been charged with his murder.
