Woman killed in Charleville crash

A woman has died following a crash in Charleville, County Cork this afternoon.

The woman, who was in her 60s and believed to be from the north Cork area, was knocked down on Main Street in the town around 3pm.

The N20 main Limerick to Cork road was closed in both directions as a result as gardaí launched an investigation.
