16-year-old charged with murder of Aidan O’Kane

A 16-year-old youth has been charged with the murder of Aidan O'Kane at East Wall in Dublin last Sunday night.

The youth, who cannot be named because he is a juvenile, appeared before Dublin Children's Court this afternoon.

He was been remanded in custody to appear again before the court next Wednesday.

Fifty-year-old Aidan O'Kane died after being shot in the stomach in a laneway near his house.
