Stranded vessel towed to safety off Down coast

Two people have been rescued from Strangford Lough in Co Down after their vessel became stranded overnight.

The 16ft cabin cruiser, with two people on board, suffered engine failure while collecting shellfish.

It was towed to safety by the Portaferry lifeboat and the two occupants are said to be safe and well.
