Six teenagers still in custody over Dublin murder
Gardaí in Dublin are continuing to question six teenagers this morning in connection with the murder of Aidan O'Kane in East Wall at the weekend.
The 50-year-old was shot dead after apparently chasing a group of youths who were interfering with his house on Shelmalier Road on Sunday night.
Five teenagers were detained on Monday in connection with the killing, while a sixth was arrested yesterday.
Gardai reportedly believe the fatal shot was fired by a 15-year-old boy.
Reports this morning say Mr O'Kane may have exchanged text messages and phone calls with one of the youths being questioned by Gardai.
There are suggestions that a gang of youths were repeatedly attacking the mechanic's home due to a row over a motorcycle.
