Fresh calls for Ireland to tackle climate change

Friends of the Earth is today calling on the Government to lead the way in Europe when it comes to tackling climate change.

This week's European Council Summit in Brussels, which will be attended by the Taoiseach, is expected to see countries commit to dramatically reducing CO2 emissions.

The event coincides with a special UN conference on the issue.
