Revenue Commissioner gets €24m from tax defaulters

The Revenue Commissioner received settlements totalling €24.2m from tax defaulters in the three months to September, it was revealed this afternoon.

The Revenue Commissioner received settlements totalling €24.2 million from tax defaulters in the three months to September, it was revealed this afternoon.

A total of 111 cases were settled in the third quarter of this year.

Two of these exceeded €1m each, while nine exceeded €500,000.
