Drinks plant to create 100 jobs in Wexford

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen will break ground this morning at the site of Coca-Cola's new €200m factory in Wexford.

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen will break ground this morning at the site of Coca-Cola's new €200m factory in Wexford.

The manufacturing and innovation facility will be situated on a 41-acre site in the IDA Business and Technology Park.

It is expected that the facility will create about 60 jobs after a year and more than 100 jobs after five years of operation.

A number of jobs will also be created in the construction phase of the development.
