Sheep farmers protest outside Dept of Agriculture

Sheep farmers have mounted a protest outside the Department of Agriculture in Dublin today as part of a protest over EU subsidies.

The farmers have erected a pen containing 12 sheep outside the department's offices.

They say Agriculture Minister Brendan Smith has failed to honour promises he made in relation to EU payments.
