Pipe bombs seized during raid on house in Belfast

Police in the North have seized five viable pipe-bomb type devices and a large quantity of ammunition following a raid on a house in Belfast yesterday.

Eight controlled explosions were carried out following the operation in Carmeen Drive.

A 22-year-old man has been arrested and is helping police with their inquiries.
