Young man shot dead at house in west Dublin

A 27-year-old man has been found shot dead at his home in the Mulhuddart area of west Dublin.

The man's body was found at around 8.30pm last night in the living room of the house on Ashcroft Grove.

He had a gunshot wound to his neck, but few other details have been disclosed.

The body remains at the scene pending the arrival of the State Pathologist this morning.

The house has also been sealed off for forensic examination.
