Call for human-rights experts to bolster North Justice Department

Human rights experts should be drafted-in to bolster the ranks of civil servants in any new North Department of Justice, it was claimed today.

The SDLP’s Alex Attwood made his proposal at a Stormont committee meeting which was considering the devolution of policing and justice powers from Westminster.
