Teen dies in Mayo crash

An 18-year-old woman has been killed in a road crash in Co Mayo.

It happened in the early hours of this morning on the R334 near Kildoon.

Gardaí say the road is closed and will remain closed for a number of hours to allow a technical examination to be carried out.

Motorists are being advised that diversions are in place.
