Reliefs to offset health insurance costs for older people

The Government has announced measures to ensure older people are not paying more for their health insurance because of the ending of the risk equalisation scheme.

The scheme, which forced competitors to compensate the VHI for its older client base, was struck down by the Supreme Court earlier this year.
