PSNI unsolved murders team to get extra funding

The special PSNI team investigating unsolved murders during the Troubles is to receive extra funding from the British Government.

The Historical Enquiries Team announced last week that it was facing a £1.5m (€1.77m) funding shortfall in the coming months and would have to significantly scale back its work.
