Coca-Cola says its bottled water not implicated in FSA report
Coca-Cola has said its two bottled waters - Deep River Rock and Vittel – are not amongst the products implicated in the Food Safety Authority's report on the water industry.
The authority has published a report which involved samples taken from a wide range of premises in the last four months of 2007, and E-coli was found in 1% of the samples.
The FSA said consumers should not be concerned about the quality of bottled water on the market today.
Coca-Cola released a statement seeking to assure customers that “the highest possible national and international standards are exceeded” in the production of its bottled water.
