Talks continue in bid to avert Aer Lingus strike

Negotiations aimed at averting strike action at Aer Lingus are due to resume at the Labour Relations Commission this morning.

SIPTU and the airline's management spent most of yesterday in talks about the latter's controversial plan to shed around 1,300 jobs as part of a €74m cost-cutting programme.
