Three arrested over Co. Antrim assault
Three men have been arrested in connection with an assault in the North.
It happened in the main street of Broughshane in Co. Antrim at around 1.20am this morning, when a man in his twenties was pulled from a taxi and set upon by a number of men.
He was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are investigating whether there is any connection between this assault and a second incident in Ballymena at around 11.30pm last night, in which one man received facial injuries.
The three men remain in custody and are helping the PSNI with their enquiries.
