Gardaí probe pensioner's death

Gardaí are tonight investigating the death of an elderly man in north Dublin.

The 95-year-old’s body was discovered in his home on the Ballygall Road East in Glasnevin at 5pm.

Forensic officers are currently at the scene.

Gardaí did not disclose any further details surrounding the circumstances of the man’s death.

A post mortem examination is due to be carried out tomorrow.
