Man arrested over Dublin cannabis seizure

An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a drugs seizure in Dublin City Centre.

Around €12,000 worth of cannabis resin was seized during a planned search of a house on Lower Sheriff street at around 11.30pm last night.

Gardaí from Store Street, the Divisional Crime Task Force and the Garda Dog unit were all involved in the operation.

The man was arrested at the scene and is being detained at Store Street Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
