Czech President to meet Libertas founder

The Czech President breaks off his official state visit to Ireland later to meet the founder of the anti-Lisbon Treaty group Libertas.

Vaclav Klaus will hold talks with Declan Ganley this evening.

The Czech Republic is next in line to take over the rotating Presidency of the EU when the French term ends in December.

The Government is expected to lay out a road-map to solve the Lisbon impasse next month and will have to work closely with the Czech government.
