Hugh Cooney to head Enterprise Ireland

A new chairperson has been appointed to Enterprise Ireland.

Hugh Cooney, who is currently Head of Corporate Finance in BDO Simpson Xavier and serves as chairperson of the Trustees of Arnotts Pension Fund, will succeed Pat Molloy.

Announcing his appointment, Tánaiste Mary Coughlan said that she was confident Mr Cooney's experience would contribute to the further growth of Irish enterprise.
