138 jobs to go in Galway

Engineering company APW in Oranmore in Galway is set to close with the loss of 138 jobs.

SIPTU says the company, which is based in Deerpark Industrial Estate, has told employees it is closing its doors with immediate affect. The liquidators moved in yesterday.
