Man dies in Co Limerick farm accident

A man in his 60s has been killed in a farming accident in County Limerick this morning.

The incident occurred at about 10am at a farm in Martinstown near Kilfinnane.

It is understood the man was fatally injured in an incident involving a tractor.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Health and Safety Authority is expected to carry out an investigation into the incident.
