Number of North smokers hoping to quit up by 50%

The number of people in the North trying to give up smoking has increased by over 50% it was revealed today.

People setting a quit date through the smoking cessation services provided by the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety shot up to 21,476 in the year to the end of March.
