Man to face rape charge in North

A 44-year-old man is to appear in court in the North this morning accused of a rape.

He was charged after a woman in her late 20s was sexually assaulted in a house in Downpatrick, Co Down, on Friday night into Saturday morning.

The suspect will appear at Downpatrick Magistrates’ Court.
