Dell to shed 400 temporary jobs in Limerick

The computer giant Dell is reportedly planning to cut at least 400 temporary jobs at its plant in Limerick due to the economic downturn.

The company, however, is insisting that the move is standard practice and will have no effect on the 3,000 full-time workers employed at the factory.
