Thousands expected to protest against education cuts

Thousands of people are expected to take to the streets of Dublin today for a protest against controversial Budget cutbacks in education.

Teachers and parents are planning a rally outside the Dáil to coincide with a Labour Party motion calling for the cuts to be reversed.
