O’Keeffe: No more than 400 teaching posts will be lost

Education Minister Batt O'Keeffe is insisting that the number of teaching posts lost because of Budget cutbacks will be no more than 400.

Mr O'Keeffe says overall teacher numbers will be reduced by 200 at primary and 200 at secondary levels, which he says will bring class levels to what they were last year.
